About The Role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in healthcare data modeling, integration, and analytics. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure and implementing monitoring systems for automated health checks. As a key member of our team, you will develop and optimize complex SQL queries, support healthcare data ingestion processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
Your expertise will contribute to advancing healthcare analytics initiatives, including value-based care, population health, and quality improvement programs. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies and contribute to impactful healthcare solutions.
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with US healthcare datasets, including claims, benefits, and eligibility data,
is required. Proficiency in SQL for querying large-scale healthcare data is essential.
Familiarity with Snowflake, MySQL, and modern data warehousing concepts is highly desirable. Candidates should have experience creating process documentation, data flow diagrams, and system architecture visuals using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills are necessary, along with excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities In this role, you will analyze large healthcare datasets, including claims, eligibility, provider, utilization, and quality data, to support reporting and regulatory compliance. You will write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from relational databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Your responsibilities also include performing data validation, reconciliation, and transformation processes to facilitate precise reporting for business insights and regulatory needs. You will work closely with data engineering teams to support the ingestion and integration of data from source systems such as claims processing platforms, provider systems, and eligibility feeds. Supporting analytics initiatives related to value-based care, population health, and operational efficiency will be a key aspect of your role.
Additionally, you will create process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals, documenting healthcare business rules, data definitions,
metrics, and reporting methodologies. Partnering with stakeholders across healthcare operations, finance, clinical, quality, and compliance teams, you will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
