About The Role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in healthcare data modeling, integration, and analysis. In this role, you will be instrumental in building scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure to support healthcare analytics initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include implementing monitoring systems for automated health checks, developing continuous integration (CI) pipelines, and guiding the team through best practices in data analysis and management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex healthcare datasets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to projects aimed at improving healthcare outcomes through data-driven insights.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in US healthcare analytics, including working with benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is essential. Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large healthcare datasets is required, along with familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL.
Experience in creating healthcare process and data flow documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills, along with excellent communication abilities to facilitate effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities As a Data Analyst in Healthcare, your core responsibilities will include analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets, such as claims, provider information, utilization, and quality metrics. You will write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from relational databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Supporting healthcare data modeling and integration efforts, you will work closely with data engineering teams to facilitate reliable data ingestion from source systems like claims processing platforms, provider systems, and eligibility feeds.
Your role will also involve developing and maintaining documentation, including process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals, to ensure clarity and standardization across projects. Additionally, you will support analytics initiatives aimed at value-based care, population health management, quality improvement, and operational efficiency. Collaboration with stakeholders from Healthcare Operations, Finance, Clinical, Quality, and Compliance teams will be vital to understanding reporting needs and translating complex data into actionable insights.
Presenting findings, trends,
and strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams will be a key aspect of your role, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization.
