About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Specialist Freelance Trainer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a particular focus on Cyber Ark and Okta tools. This role involves designing and delivering engaging online training sessions tailored to diverse learner groups, including IT professionals, security teams, and organizational leaders.

The trainer will be responsible for creating comprehensive lesson plans, practical labs, and real-world scenarios to enhance learning outcomes. Additionally, the role requires updating course content regularly to reflect current industry threats, tools, and best practices. The successful candidate will work closely with Patch the Skill’s team to ensure training programs align with client needs and industry standards, ultimately fostering a secure and knowledgeable workforce.

Qualifications Extensive experience in cybersecurity and information security, with a deep understanding of security frameworks, policies, and best practices.

Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience as a cybersecurity consultant or trainer.

Hands-on expertise with Cyber Ark and Okta tools, demonstrating practical knowledge and application skills.

Strong background in network security, including designing secure network architectures, managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.





Solid understanding of application security principles, including secure coding practices, common vulnerabilities (such as OWASP Top 10), and mitigation strategies.

Experience in malware analysis, including identifying, analyzing, and responding to malicious software threats.

Proven track record in delivering technical training or mentoring in cybersecurity, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent practical experience are highly valued.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in remote training platforms and learning management systems.

Ability to develop hands-on labs, case studies, and interactive content to facilitate engaging learning experiences.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a versatile freelance, part-time capacity.
