Role & responsibilities

- Design and development of automotive seating structure components such as:
- Seat frame
- Recliner mounting brackets
- Track assemblies
- Cushion pan structures
- Back frame structures
- Welded assemblies and sheet metal parts
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies using CATIA.
- Work on product development activities from concept to production release.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Support prototype development, design validation, and engineering changes.
- Ensure design compliance with customer standards, safety requirements, and DFMEA guidelines.
- Participate in design reviews and customer discussions

Required Skills:

- Solid knowledge of automotive seating structure design.
- Experience in sheet metal and welded structure design.
- Hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
- Understanding of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, and APQP processes.
- Good understanding of seating mechanisms and structural performance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
