Role & responsibilities

- Lead overall accounting operations, financial closing and reporting.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger, fixed assets, project accounting, receivables and payables.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS and other applicable laws.
- Lead direct and indirect tax planning, assessments, audits and litigations.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, tax and cost audits.
- Establish robust internal controls and governance mechanisms.
- Monitor working capital, cash flows and fund utilization.
- Oversee project accounting and contract accounting for infrastructure projects.
- Develop SOPs and standardization across sites and head office.
- Ensure timely statutory returns, filings and reconciliations.
- Support management with MIS, dashboards and decision-making insights.
- Build capability and performance of finance and accounts teams.

Preferred candidate profile

CA with 12 to 15+ years of relevant progressive experience in accounts, taxation and compliance, preferably in infrastructure, EPC, roads, highways, bridges or construction sectors.
