Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Python with embedded AI/ML capabilities.
Develop and manage microservices within a distributed system architecture, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and effective communication between services.
Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs that serve AI-powered features such as fraud detection, KYC automation, and personalization.
Work with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases to support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data ingestion and processing.
Implement AI integration via REST/gRPC and tools like TorchServe, FastAPI, and TensorFlow Serving.
Orchestrate real-time pipelines using Kafka and Redis Streams for model inputs and inference outputs.
Ensure DevOps alignment using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Integrate with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, ECS, EKS) for cloud-native scalability.
Develop RESTful APIs, implement OAuth2/JWT security, and ensure compliance with FinTech data regulations.
Work with product managers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Technical Skills: 7+ years of experience in software development, with strong backend engineering focus.
Proficient in: Java with Play Framework and/or Spring Boot, Python (for scripting, automation, or ML integration), Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
Hands-on experience with MySQL and MongoDB Experience integrating or consuming AI/ML models in a production environment.




Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy in financial systems (e g, RBI, PCI-DSS).
Understanding of fundamental AI/ML concepts and practical experience in integrating pre-built or custom AI/ML models into applications.
Experience with GraphQL for API design and data querying.
Hands-on experience with message queues (Apache Kafka) and caching solutions (Redis).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DocumentDB, EKS/AKS/GKE.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (e g, React, Angular, Vue js) for full-stack capability.
Domain knowledge in FinTech, including understanding of financial products, regulations, and security best practices.
Preferred Experience: Experience building or consuming AI APIs in real-time production environments.
Exposure to AI-powered FinTech domains such as credit risk scoring, fraud detection, or automated document parsing.
Solid collaboration experience with data scientists and AI researchers.
Experience working on products deployed across Southeast Asia is a plus.
