- Design automotive air vent systems (center, side, defrost, rear)
- Develop plastic parts like housings, bezels, knobs, and frames
- Design kinematic mechanisms for vent vanes
- Work on concept, feasibility, and detailed design (master sections)
- Handle packaging and integration with HVAC ducts and IP
- Apply DFM/DFA and injection molding considerations
- Prepare design releases, BOMs, and manufacturing drawings
- Support DFMEA, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and testing (DVP)
- Manage CAD data and engineering changes (ECR/ECN)
- Participate in design reviews with teams and customers
Skills Required
Solid knowledge of plastic injection molding design
- Hands-on experience in CATIA V5 (surfacing & solid modeling)
- Kinematic simulation experience in CATIA V5
- Understanding of airflow, mechanism function, and gap/flush
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualification
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
