Key Areas of Responsibilities

- Draft/review legal documentation for Equities and Enterprise Legal matters;
- Provide legal advice on Institutional Equities and Enterprise Legal matters;
- Prepare or update policies and procedures for the Firm;
- Work with the Group Legal/Compliance on the regulatory matters and other ad hoc projects as needed;
- Liaise with other internal departments and affiliates regarding the above matters and any other matters as required;
- Liaise with external counsel and other service providers, as needed; and
- Provide legal training to the Firm

Requirements

- Degree holder in legal degree (Bachelor s degree or above)
- Qualified in a common law jurisdiction
- Approximately 9 years of legal experience
- Legal experience with leading financial institutions or prominent law firms is required
- In-depth understanding of equities,



brokerage or other financial business;
- Proactive, solution driven and result oriented, willing to learn and to make judgement call, solid analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Aptitude to review other types of legal documents when required
- Good team player who can work independently and also as part of a large legal team
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; other Asian language skills can be a big plus but not mandatory.
