CSR Partnership Manager Cell / Unit: CSR Cell — University Reports To: CSR Lead Location: Metro city — Mumbai / Delhi / Bangalore (field-based, frequent travel) CTC: ₹12 Lakhs p.a. ABOUT THE CSR CELL The CSR Cell is an independent unit within the University, dedicated to building structured corporate social responsibility partnerships with companies, foundations, and industry bodies. The Cell focuses on channeling CSR funding into scholarships, skill development programs, and employability initiatives that benefit students — particularly those from underserved and economically weaker communities.
The Cell operates with full autonomy, managing its own outreach, proposals, compliance, and impact measurement — functioning as a professional fundraising and partnership unit embedded within the University ecosystem. ROLE PURPOSE To generate CSR funding for the University by identifying, meeting, and converting corporate CSR opportunities into confirmed partnerships. A results-driven, field-based role focused on building a qualified pipeline and consistently closing funding for student scholarships and skill development programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Build and maintain a qualified corporate target list — companies with CSR mandates in education and skilling
- Conduct proactive outreach through LinkedIn, referrals, CSR portals (India CSR, CSR Box, AVPN), and chamber networks
- Meet CSR Heads, Sustainability Managers, and foundation officers in person to present the University's CSR programs
- Customize and submit tailored CSR proposals and funding decks for each prospect
- Respond to and convert incoming CSR RFPs from companies and foundations
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects across all pipeline stages
- Work with the Compliance team to ensure proposals satisfy corporate due diligence requirements
- Attend industry conferences, CSR summits, and chamber events to represent the University
- Submit weekly pipeline reports and monthly conversion summaries to the CSR Lead
- Coordinate post-signing logistics — MoU execution, first fund release, and program kick-off QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE - Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field
- 4–7 years in B2B sales, corporate partnerships, institutional fundraising, or CSR implementation
- Experience of fundraising for an educational institution, NGO, or social enterprise is strongly preferred
- Comfortable building rapport and presenting to senior corporate decision-makers
- Strong written proposal and communication skills
- Willing to travel extensively within India — this is primarily a field role KEY SKILLS - Corporate outreach — identifying the right contacts and getting in the door
- Proposal writing and pitch deck customization for specific corporate audiences
- Knowledge of the CSR funding ecosystem — Sattva, Dasra, GuideStar, India CSR, AVPN
- Negotiation and closing a funding conversation
- CRM pipeline discipline — keeping records accurate and current
- Presentation skills in English; Hindi and regional language fluency is an advantage
