Experience: 4 to 6 years Qualification: Master’s degree in mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering. Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform crash and vibration simulations for battery systems.
- Independently coordinate with counterpart and global stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver crash/crush and durability simulation activities.
- Own and manage simulation projects end-to-end from preprocessing, meshing & model setup through final reporting.
- Build, debug, and maintain high-quality crash and durability FE models using pre-processing tools such as ANSA (preferred) and Hyperworks.
- Execute explicit crash simulations and vibration analyses using PAM-CRASH, LS-Dyna and ABAQUS.
- Post-process and analyze simulation results using ANIMATOR and META-POST.
- Interpret results, identify failure modes, and optimize designs through iterative simulation cycles.
- Prepare clear and concise technical reports summarizing simulation results, design improvements, and recommendations; present findings to global counterpart.

•Provide design countermeasures and engineering guidance based on simulation outcomes to meet performance, safety, and regulatory targets.

•Collaborate closely with global counterpart to align on simulation scope, methodologies, assumptions, and result interpretations.

•Ensure strict adherence to simulation quality standards, best practices, and thorough documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and workflows.

- Maintain and continuously improve simulation templates, methodologies, and processes for battery crash/crush analyses.
- Deliver simulation activities in line with structured product development timelines, ensuring commitments to quality, cost, and schedule are consistently met or exceeded. Must Have:
- 4+ years of strong experience in battery crash and durability analysis, including side impact, drop tests, crush tests, and vibration analysis.




- Hands-on expertise with CAE tools such as PAM-CRASH, ABAQUS, LS-Dyna, ANSA, META-POST, ANIMATOR, NASTRAN, and FEMFAT.
- Solid experience in meshing of 1D elements, 2D elements (sheet metal and plastics), and 3D elements (tetra and hexa)
- Experience working with and interpreting CAD data for CAE model development.
- In-depth understanding of battery systems, safety concepts, and failure mechanisms.
- Proven experience in correlation of CAE results with physical test data.
- Solid fundamentals in mechanics, shock and vibration, crashworthiness, crushing behavior, and material properties/non-linear behavior.
- Experience with joint modeling and connections (e.g., welds, adhesives, fasteners) is preferred.
- Solid understanding of battery systems, battery crash safety concepts.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in multicultural, global teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Working knowledge of Python scripting and Jira is a plus. Good to Have
- Interest or experience in data analytics and data-driven product development.
- Demonstrated mindset toward continuous improvement and innovation, supporting standardized methods and tools.
- Know-how in automation, workflow optimization, and lead-time reduction.
- Experience in simulation methodology development and process standardization.
- Familiarity with ECE R100 and FMVSS regulations related to vehicle and battery safety.
- Experience in passenger vehicle programs with OEMs.
- Experience working with CAE simulation template and processes, including:
- Standardized load case (LoCo) modeling framework for load case & model setup

2.Systems for simulation data management and result storage

- Business-level German proficiency (minimum B1 level) is an advantage.
