Role Description The Country Head – India will be responsible for leading Citadel Holdings’ strategic, investment, and operational agenda across India in a full-time, remote capacity. This role will oversee deal origination, evaluation, and execution for deep tech, healthcare, agri-business, and trade finance verticals relevant to the Indian market, while aligning all initiatives with global strategy.

The Country

Head will manage key stakeholder relationships with institutional partners, regulators, portfolio companies, and strategic allies, and will represent Citadel Holdings in high-level negotiations and industry forums. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and leading cross-functional teams, supervising market research and competitive analysis, and driving pipeline development and capital deployment.



The role also includes ensuring compliance with regional regulations, maintaining strong governance standards, and coordinating closely with global leadership on reporting, risk management, and performance outcomes.

Qualifications

Strong experience in investment management, corporate strategy, or private equity, with a track record of leading complex cross-border transactions.

Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the firm’s core verticals (deep tech and advanced manufacturing, healthcare infrastructure, agri-business, or trade finance and commodities).

Proficiency in market analysis, financial modeling, and capital formation, including structuring, syndication, and portfolio management.

Leadership skills in building and managing high-performing teams, driving remote collaboration, and overseeing multi-stakeholder projects.

Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with experience engaging institutional investors, government bodies, and strategic partners.

Understanding of AI-driven digital transformation, technology-enabled operations, and contemporary corporate governance practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Deep knowledge of the Indian regulatory, economic, and business environment, with experience working across international markets.

Advanced degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent qualified experience considered.
