Our client is an international company operating in the textile industry, currently expanding its footprint in India. As part of its growth strategy in Asia, the company is looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead its operations and development in India.
Job Purpose
As Country Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and growing the company’s presence in India. You will be responsible for driving business development, building local operations, and ensuring alignment with global strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and development of the company’s business activities in India.
- Identify and develop recent business opportunities within the textile sector.
- Build and manage relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient execution of business strategy.
- Coordinate closely with international teams and headquarters.
- Provide regular reporting to the General Manager Asia.
Reporting Line
You will report directly to the General Manager Asia.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 08+ years of professional experience,
with a strong background in international business development. Experience in the textile industry is a plus.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-growing environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- International Outlook: Comfortable working in an international environment.
- Languages: Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
