Role Description The Cost Analyst & Planning Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Vadodara, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for analyzing project costs, preparing cost estimates, monitoring budgets, and supporting cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle. The individual will develop and maintain cost and resource plans, track project progress against schedules, and prepare regular cost and planning reports for internal teams and clients.

Daily tasks include reviewing financial data, coordinating with engineering and project management teams, identifying variances between planned and actual costs,



and recommending corrective actions. The role also involves contributing to process improvements, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

Qualifications Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and prepare clear cost and planning reports.

Proficiency in cost control and cost management, including Quantity Take Off , monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and optimizing resource allocation.

Knowledge of cost accounting and finance principles relevant to project-based environments.

Experience with project planning tools and techniques, including scheduling, resource planning, and progress tracking.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced certifications in cost management or project planning are an advantage.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel ,MS Project and other relevant software; familiarity with project management and financial analysis tools is beneficial.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
