This Week in AI is an AI media company. We currently run a weekly newsletter focused on practical AI insights for indiepreneurs, entrepreneurs, and AI operators. The publication highlights tools, strategies, and case studies to help people build AI products or integrate AI into existing businesses.

Content is delivered through Substack, making it easy for subscribers to access timely updates and deep dives on AI trends. The team is oriented toward growth, experimentation, and providing actionable value for a global audience interested in applied AI. Role Description

This is a remote internship role focused on research and content creation for This Week in AI.

The Content

Writer & Researcher will help identify significant AI developments, research emerging tools and trends, and transform complex topics into clear, engaging content for newsletters, blog posts, LinkedIn, and other digital channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating on:

Researching the latest AI news, products, startups, and industry trends.

Identifying compelling story ideas and content opportunities for the newsletter and social media.

Writing newsletter articles, blog posts, case studies, and educational content.

Conducting background research and fact-checking to ensure content accuracy and credibility.

Summarizing technical AI concepts into accessible, engaging content for founders, operators, and business professionals.





Assisting with content planning, editorial calendars, and topic prioritization.

Collaborating with the team to refine content based on reader feedback and performance metrics.

Interns will work closely with the editorial team to maintain the publication's quality, accuracy, and voice while helping grow an engaged global audience of AI builders and operators. Qualifications

Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, engaging manner.

Excellent research skills and the ability to identify credible sources, emerging trends, and valuable insights.

Curiosity about AI, startups, entrepreneurship, and technology.

Ability to analyze information critically and synthesize insights from multiple sources.

Strong attention to detail, particularly in fact-checking, grammar, and content quality.

Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate with a remote team.

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt quickly to fast-moving AI developments.

Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google Docs, Notion, or similar productivity and research tools is beneficial.

Prior experience in content writing, journalism, blogging, newsletters, or research is a plus but not required.

Having a prior newsletter/ a famous X account/ AI-ML Knowledge / Researcher background is a great plus
