Role Overview

We are looking for a Creative Content Writer in Kannada who can turn verified research and data into compelling Kannada narratives that shape public perception and strengthen campaign communication. The role calls for strong political awareness, sharp creative writing, and the ability to produce diverse content formats, from social media posts to speeches and press notes, under tight deadlines.

You'll be a key part of the creative team, converting insights from media tracking and research into Kannada content that informs, persuades, and drives engagement with the Kannadiga audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

- Write clear, precise, and contextually rich Kannada content based on verified research briefs and issue analyses.
- Develop posts, captions, press releases, talking points, and narrative notes aligned with campaign goals.
- Translate and adapt English summaries and briefs into natural, idiomatic Kannada for regional audience.
- Support daily and weekly content cycles with quick, high quality writing output.

Narrative Coordination

- Collaborate with the Research and Data Analysis teams to ensure content accuracy and contextual relevance.




- Use daily inputs from the Media to build timely, issue-based content.
- Align with the research, creative, design, and video units for integrated content production.

Editorial & Quality Oversight

- Proofread and edit all Kannada content for clarity, tone, and accuracy.
- Maintain consistency in language and style across all campaign touchpoints.
- Uphold messaging discipline while allowing room for creative flexibility.

Strategic Communication Support

- Assist in preparing notes, speeches, and statements for leadership communication in Kannada.
- Contribute ideas and framing for emerging political issues and responses.
- Maintain organised archives of Kannada content, issue responses, and narrative assets.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Kannada Literature, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

- Minimum 1-2 years of professional writing experience in media, politics, or campaign communication.
- Prior exposure to political or public issue based writing is preferred.

Skills

- Excellent written Kannada with the ability to simplify complex ideas for a general audience.
- Strong awareness of Karnataka's political and social landscape.
- Quick grasp of emerging narratives and the ability to respond contextually.
- Strong collaboration and adaptability in a high paced communication setup.

Bonus

- Working proficiency in English for cross language coordination.
- Experience with digital storytelling, reels, or speech note writing.
