Job Title: Site Construction Manager

Job Purpose The Site Construction Manager is responsible for leading and managing all on-site construction activities at the Agucha Mine Project. The role ensures that the project is executed safely, within the approved budget, on schedule, and in compliance with client specifications, statutory regulations, and company quality standards.

Manager acts as the single point of coordination for all site operations and is responsible for delivering the project successfully while maintaining solid client relationships.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Execution

•Lead all site construction activities from mobilization to project completion.

•Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedule.

•Monitor daily construction progress and achieve planned milestones.

•Resolve technical and operational issues affecting project progress.

•Coordinate construction sequencing to maximize productivity.

2. Site Operations Management

•Manage day-to-day operations of the project site.

•Supervise Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Contractors, and Labour Teams.

•Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently.

•Conduct daily site review meetings.

3. Planning & Scheduling

•Prepare weekly and monthly execution plans.

•Monitor work progress against project schedules.

•Coordinate with planning engineers for look-ahead schedules.

•Identify delays and implement recovery plans.

4. Client Coordination





•Act as the primary site representative for the client.

•Attend client meetings and progress review meetings.

•Resolve client observations promptly.

•Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.

5. Quality Management

•Ensure compliance with approved quality standards.

•Monitor inspection and testing activities.

•Ensure all work complies with IS Codes, client specifications, and approved drawings.

•Minimize rework through proactive quality control.

•Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers during inspections.

8. Material Management

•Forecast material requirements.

•Coordinate with Procurement and Stores.

•Ensure timely availability of construction materials.

•Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.

•Verify site inventory.

9. Cost Control

•Monitor project costs against approved budgets.

•Identify cost-saving opportunities.

•Control labour, equipment, and material costs.

•Verify contractor bills and work measurements.

•Assist management in budget monitoring.

10. Documentation & Reporting

•Review Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).

•Prepare Weekly Progress Reports.

•Submit Monthly Project Status Reports.

•Maintain measurement books, work orders, site records, inspection reports, and client correspondence.

•Ensure complete project documentation.

Educational Qualification

•B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

•M.Tech or PMP Certification (Preferred)

Experience

•Minimum 10–15 years of experience in civil construction.

•Experience working on Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) or similar industrial projects will be preferred.
