Mobile & Application Platform Engineer - Connectivity (MAP) We are looking for a Mobile & Application Platform Engineer to develop and maintain connectivity features between wearable devices and Android companion applications. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop connectivity features using BLE, Bluetooth Classic, Wi-Fi and tethering.
- Build C++ and Kotlin modules using Android connectivity APIs.
- Develop reliable solutions for device pairing, data transfer and connection management.
- Debug connectivity issues across the Android application, framework and HAL layers.
- Work with different teams to implement end-to-end connectivity protocols.
- Optimize wireless connectivity for power consumption, latency and throughput.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions and technical documentation.

Required

Skills

- 3-5 years of Android application or platform development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Kotlin.




- Valuable understanding of Android SDK connectivity frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with BLE, Bluetooth Classic, Wi-Fi and tethering.
- Experience with ConnectivityManager and related Android system services.
- Understanding of Services, AIDL, Binder IPC and background execution.
- Debugging experience using ADB, logcat, btsnoop, Wireshark and HCI logs.
- Familiarity with Gradle, Soong/Blueprint and Git.

Preferred

Skills

- Experience with wearable devices, IoT platforms or companion applications.
- Knowledge of Android Bluetooth stack internals or AOSP connectivity modules.
- Experience with Qualcomm or MediaTek Bluetooth/Wi-Fi chipsets.
- Experience connecting native C++ modules with Kotlin using JNI.
- Knowledge of power profiling and battery optimization.
