New Student- Create An Account Returning Student- Log In The Introduction to Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) with SolidWorks program at Lynwood Community Adult School is designed for aspiring and currently employed technical/CAD drafters, preparing students for the Certified Solid Works Associate (CSWA) certification exam, as well as students interested in exploring the world of computer aided drafting/design. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to take the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) exam. This skilled certification serves as a benchmark on which students can measure their expertise, as well as proof of their mastery of the latest cutting-edge software being used by the 3D design and fabrication industries.
Students will also participate in career-focused sessions that cover soft-skills, resume writing, job searching, and interview techniques,
including sitting for a “mock” interview which helps prepare them for the real thing. Duration 18 weeks (72 hours) per semester 144 hours for program completion Class Schedule Tuesdays and Thursdays; 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Cost $200 Registration, Orientation, and Placement Testing Registration for orientation and placement testing for the upcoming session will open July 20, 2026!
