Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Month Contract (with the possibility of extending or transitioning into a permanent role)
Compensation: ₹30,000 per month About Brewed Games
We're an indie studio that made Winds of Arcana: Ruination, a dark fantasy Metroidvania that’s now on Steam and Xbox. We’re now building an unannounced cozy management sim (no, this is not a typo). It's still early, so you won't just run a community, you'll help decide how players even find the game in the first place. Along with managing and engaging with our existing community. About the Role
You'll likely be the first person a lot of players ever talk to (no pressure, but also, a little pressure.) You'll curate our online voice, work closely with our founding team (meaning the actual devs), and build authentic relationships with players well before we've even said what the game is.
This is a hands-on, high-trust role. You're driving the day-to-day. Small team, lots of hats, so if "let's just try it and see" sounds fun rather than terrifying, you're exactly who we're after. Responsibilities
Own our Discord end-to-end from structure to bots to moderation.
Show up daily across our socials. Usually a couple hours a day at most.
Plan and run our content calendar from Tiktok to X, plus the occasional LinkedIn post nobody will admit to enjoying.
Write captions, announcements, and updates in our voice (weirdness is not just encouraged, but required.)
Edit raw footage into finished TikTok/Reels/Shorts.
Make Canva/Photoshop graphics (create templates and use them for all future posts).
Own our monthly newsletter.
Keep our press kit in shape (we’ll help with the visuals.)
Represent Brewed Games in person at gaming events around the country. Meet players and create content on the ground.
Steam page: Own the Community Hub, keep the store page visuals fresh (we'll provide the content), and help run livestream broadcasts on key dates.
Give us regular "here's what's actually working" reports.
Play our games. Literally. (A couple hours a week. Non-negotiable, but also just fun.)
At big moments like playtests, betas, demos, and THE launch, you’ll put together sentiment and player feedback reports.
Set aside some hours weekly for research and trend-watching. What We're Looking For
You love playing all kinds of games. Especially if you love management sims.
Discord experience (it’s a permanently-open app in your life.)
Short-form video editing is a skill you’ve honed (Basics are enough to build from.)
Excellent creative writing. Like, with real valuable words.
Good design eye. You can tell when a design, layout, or colour-combo looks off.
Comfortable handling multiple social platforms without someone checking in every five minutes.
(We promise to only check in every 30-60 minutes. Or less.)
You’re so organized that people take pictures of your folder structures for visual ASMR. You'll Probably Enjoy This Role If
You make a caffeinated social butterfly look like an introvert. Nothing makes you happier than interacting with people.
You reference games in every conversation, even after people roll their eyes at your 179th mention of ‘Fatality’ in the funny voice.
You notice why some indie communities thrive and others quietly die.
You think of captions and memes mid-game. (And quietly chuckle to yourself, impressed with your wit.) Nice to Have
Photoshop familiarity.
Discord mod experience.
Previous community, social, or content creation work. What You'll Get
Ownership over a game studio’s entire community and social presence.
A game marketing course, on us. (No exams. We swear.)
Work directly with the people making the game and offer direct creative input.
Chances to attend gaming events around the country.
Create and hone the communication strategy with our Marketing Lead. How to Apply
