About Oops to Opportunity
Oops to Opportunity exists for people who are building something—whether that’s a business, a career, a creative pursuit, or simply trying to become a better version of themselves.
We believe the most valuable conversations rarely happen on stage. They happen in the messy middle. Between successes. Between failures. Between rounds.
Through events, conversations, articles, podcasts and our growing community, we’re creating a place for honest stories about growth, uncertainty and everything in between.
We’re looking for someone who wants to help build that with us.
────────
This isn’t a typical marketing role.
We’re not looking for someone to post on Instagram every day.
We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape a community.
Someone who enjoys conversations more than campaigns.
Someone who notices stories that other people walk past.
Someone who gets excited about building something from the ground up.
────────

────────
We’re probably a good fit if you…
- Love writing and storytelling.
- Are naturally curious about people.
- Enjoy asking questions and listening to answers.
- Can turn everyday conversations into meaningful content.
- Are organised without being rigid.
- Enjoy both creative thinking and getting things done.
- Are comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small team.
- Want to build something that doesn’t yet have a blueprint.
────────
Bonus points if you have experience with
- Project management tools
- HubSpot or CRM platforms
- WordPress or basic website editing
- Video editing ( Premiere Pro or similar)
- Photography or content production
- Event management
None of these are essential. Curiosity, initiative and strong communication matter more.
────────
What success looks like after 12 months
- OTO has a consistent and recognisable voice across every platform.
- Events feel seamless and community-driven.
- The newsletter and website are regularly updated with meaningful content.
- The community continues to grow because people genuinely want to be part of it.
- You’ve become someone our audience recognises—not because you’re the loudest person in the room, but because you’ve helped create a place where others feel welcome.
────────
Why join us?
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply execute someone else’s marketing plan.
You’ll help shape a brand from its early chapters.
You’ll work closely with the founder, contribute ideas, experiment with new formats, meet remarkable people, and help build a community centred on honest conversations and meaningful connections.
If that sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you.
