Responsibilities:
- Build needs-led community engagement around TEPL – Hosur manufacturing locations.
- Strengthen TEPL’s social license through structured local stakeholder engagement.
- Integrate CER/CSR priorities with plant leadership, EHS and sustainability needs.
- Define theory of change, baseline indicators and outcomes before program sanction.
- Govern the full CSR program lifecycle from concept to closure.
- Good Knowledge of Government development community programs to bolster the TEPL program efforts.
- Drive environment, circular economy, water, energy and community resilience programs.
- Align CSR strategy with TEPL’s ESG, sustainability and BRSR commitments.
- Translate Board-approved CSR vision into a multi-year, Schedule VII-aligned portfolio.
- Focus CSR geographies around TEPL plants,
supplier ecosystems and aspirational districts.
- Create vocational pathways for electronics manufacturing, automation and green jobs.
- Balance plant-neighborhood investments, flagship initiatives and scalable national partnerships.
- Institutionalize partner appraisal, due diligence, sanction and milestone-based disbursements.
- Build future-ready communities through STEM, digital education and Industry 4.0 skilling.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal and Compliance for robust partner governance.
- Own CSR budgeting, utilization monitoring and two-percent obligation compliance.
- Ensure CSR Rule compliance, unspent tracking and statutory disclosure readiness.
- Commission independent impact assessments for eligible CSR programs.
- Curate credible NGO, academic, ITI, polytechnic and government partnerships.
- Build partner capability in governance, finance, reporting and outcome measurement.
- Scale employee and skills-based volunteering through TEPL’s technical talent.
- Develop crisis-response CSR protocols for community emergencies and local disruptions.
- Position TEPL as a responsible technology-manufacturing employer through credible social impact.
- Drive communication of CSR impact stories for leadership,
employees and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience & demonstrated results in community engagement
- Post-graduate degree in social work, development studies, rural management, public policy or management.
- 15 years experience in CSR, sustainability, development sector or social-impact advisory.
- Minimum 7 years in CSR leadership, portfolio ownership or program governance roles.
- Experience in corporate CSR, dealing with large NGOs, donor agencies or development advisory organizations.
- Proven experience managing multi-crore CSR budgets across partners, themes and geographies.
- Prior exposure to manufacturing, plant-community engagement or industrial ecosystems is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Section 135, Schedule VII, CSR Rules and Form CSR-2.
- Domain depth in TEPL-relevant themes like STEM, skilling, Agriculture, watershed program, circular economy or environment.
- Ability to engage Board, regulators, plant leadership and senior external partners credibly.
