Role Description The Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in India. This role involves commissioning solar and hydrogen systems, performing routine and corrective maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. The engineer will conduct system testing, diagnostics, and performance monitoring, as well as prepare technical reports and documentation.

Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project teams and vendors, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and supporting continuous improvement of operational processes.



The role also requires strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation engineering, preferably with experience in solar or hydrogen energy systems.

Proficiency in commissioning procedures, system testing, performance verification, and preventive maintenance practices.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering schematics, and equipment manuals for installation and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to renewable energy plants and industrial facilities.

Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, monitoring software, and field service activities in an on-site environment.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.

Robust problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities under time constraints.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field); prior experience in commissioning or maintenance roles is highly desirable.
