Role Description The Commercial Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for managing commercial operations related to analytical instruments and services. This position involves preparing and processing quotations, purchase orders, and invoices; coordinating with customers, principals, and internal teams to ensure timely order execution; and tracking shipments, deliveries, and payment collections. The role includes maintaining accurate commercial documentation, supporting tender and contract processes,
and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The Commercial
Officer will also assist in pricing, margin analysis, and reporting, while contributing to customer satisfaction through efficient communication and follow-up.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust commercial operations skills, including experience with quotations, purchase orders, invoicing, and documentation.
Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess basic financial and analytical skills, including familiarity with pricing, margin analysis, and payment tracking.
Candidates should possess proficiency in office productivity tools and business software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, email, ERP or CRM systems).
Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Relevant experience in commercial roles within pharmaceutical, laboratory, or industrial equipment sectors is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Understanding of basic regulatory and compliance requirements in pharmaceutical and analytical instrument domains will be an advantage.
