Role Description The Collection Executive will be responsible for managing and monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments and minimizing overdue balances. Day-to-day tasks include contacting customers through calls or visits, sending payment reminders, negotiating repayment plans where appropriate, and updating collection records in internal systems.

The role involves coordinating with internal finance and credit teams to resolve discrepancies, analyzing account status, and recommending actions for delinquent accounts in line with company policies.

Executive will also handle basic documentation related to collections and maintain professional communication with customers to support positive relationships. This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong debt collection and credit control skills, with experience managing overdue accounts.
- Candidates should possess solid finance and analytical skills to review account data, assess risks, and support collection decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities for customer interaction and internal coordination.
- Candidates should possess good negotiation and problem-solving skills to handle disputes and agree on repayment arrangements.
- Relevant experience in collections, lending, or NBFC/banking operations is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, manage field visits as required, and maintain accurate records in collection and CRM systems.
- Minimum qualification of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is beneficial.
- Knowledge of local languages and familiarity with vehicle loans or retail finance will be an advantage.
