Company Description** Aashraya is a social impact initiative under PANHA that brings together individuals who want to create meaningful change in their communities. The community collaborates with old age homes, orphanages, underserved communities, women’s safety initiatives, LGBTQ+ communities, and animal welfare organizations.

Through visits, conversations, and acts of kindness, volunteers help transform lives while finding purpose and growth themselves. The mission of Aashraya is to make the world a better place together by offering accessible ways to volunteer, lead social impact projects, and connect with purpose-driven people.

Role Description The Co Lead Intern role is a volunteer, remote position that supports the planning and coordination of Aashraya’s social impact initiatives. In this role, the intern collaborates with other community leads to organize volunteer activities, manage communication with partner organizations, and help onboard and engage volunteers.





Day-to-day responsibilities may include scheduling and documenting meetings, assisting in project planning, maintaining online community channels, and ensuring timely updates to volunteers and stakeholders. The intern also helps identify new opportunities for impact, supports awareness campaigns, and contributes ideas to strengthen community engagement and inclusion.

Qualifications

- Ability to coordinate projects and activities, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and supporting smooth execution of initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to engage respectfully with diverse communities.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and basic digital literacy, such as using messaging platforms, video conferencing, and shared documents.
- Demonstrated empathy, active listening, and a genuine interest in social impact, community service, and inclusive practices.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a volunteer environment, take initiative, and be reliable in meeting commitments.
- Prior experience in volunteering, community organizing, or social impact projects is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to commit consistent time each week and adapt to a dynamic, mission-driven setting.
