A CNC operator manages the computer numerical controlled devices or machines. As a CNC machine operator, the scope of work primarily involves maintaining, setting and improving the machine. The CNC operator’s work involves being highly knowledgeable in both the hardware and software components of the machine or equipment.
Material processing, in this case, is usually done through CNC drilling, milling, cutting and bending. Studying the blueprint and manipulating metal to build essential machine parts is the key objective of a CNC operator.
