The CNC Bending Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake (bending) machines to bend sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake/bending machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and bending programs.
- Select the correct punch, die, and tooling for each job.
- Perform machine setup, tool alignment, and program adjustments.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using Vernier calipers, angle gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major breakdowns.
- Maintain production records and follow 5S and safety standards.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
