Key Responsibilities
- Validate instrument cluster functionality, including speedometer, tachometer, warning lamps, telltales, gauges, and displays.
- Perform system, integration, and vehiclelevel validation as per requirements.
- Develop and execute test cases for functional, performance, regression, and fault scenarios.
- Validate communication over CAN / CAN FD / LIN / FlexRay.
- Perform HIL, SIL, and bench testing, including fault injection and diagnostics.
- Verify compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262 (where applicable).
- Analyze issues, log defects, track closure, and support root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with development, requirements, and system teams to clarify test scenarios.
- Prepare test reports,
validation summaries, and release signoffs.
- Mandatory CAPL and Python scripting experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in instrument cluster validation or automotive ECU validation
- Handson knowledge of automotive communication protocols
- Robust understanding of vehicle signals and diagnostics
- Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vTESTstudio) or dSPACE tools
- Familiarity with requirements tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jama)
- Good debugging and analytical skills
