Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic CMS Lead to oversee the management, operation, and optimization of our Content Management System across our OTT streaming network. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the digital content lifecycle, ensuring seamless platform execution, and maintaining high metadata and asset standards across web, mobile, and Connected TV (CTV) applications.

As a core operational leader, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering, product design, and content operations to enhance discoverability, content performance, and user engagement. Key Responsibilities

CMS Leadership & Operations: Direct the daily configuration, maintenance, and architecture of the OTT Content Management System to ensure seamless content delivery.

Metadata & Supply Chain Governance: Manage end-to-end video asset workflows, including metadata ingestion, localized taxonomy, asset tags, agile artwork, and regional distribution rights.

Platform Merchandising: Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to implement algorithmic and curated content carousels, personalized recommendations, and targeted promotional campaigns.

Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner with Product, Software Engineering, Content Acquisition, and QA teams to define operational requirements, streamline ingestion pipelines, and resolve platform feed issues.

Workflow Optimization:



Evaluate and enhance system integrations, including video players, recommendation engines, analytics tools, and automated ingestion APIs.

Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all published assets adhere to strict quality benchmarks, legal rights windows, and parental rating guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in content operations, CMS architecture, or digital asset management within the OTT, SVOD/AVOD, or Digital Media sector.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of video streaming supply chains, video formats, metadata standards (e.g., XML, JSON, MRSS feeds), and transcode/publishing workflows.

Multi-Platform Ecosystems: Strong working understanding of backend CMS payload structures and their implementation across iOS, Android, Web, Smart TVs, and streaming devices (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV).

Data Literacy: Ability to leverage performance analytics to optimize content taxonomy, user journeys, and watch-time metrics.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, handle tight publishing deadlines, and articulate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
