Role & responsibilities he role holder serves as the primary owner and decision-maker for the assigned corporate portfolio, with responsibility for driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, and delivering comprehensive banking solutions in the assigned cluster. The incumbent is expected to originate and close corporate banking deals while identifying opportunities to enhance penetration of the Banks products across lending, transaction banking, trade, forex, and other fee-based offerings. The role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship management capabilities, and the ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.

The incumbent is also responsible for providing strategic direction, monitoring performance, and ensuring the team consistently delivers on revenue, profitability, and portfolio growth targets.

Responsibilities: -

Strengthening Systems, Controls and Processes

- Liaise with respective teams for effective and effective Fraud Management
- Ensures compliance with Bank’s policies and processes. Responsible for safety and security of branch infrastructure and staff in the region
- Publishes periodic MIS reports
- Acquire & deepen accounts of Trusts, Associations, Societies, Club’s, Religious Institutions, and Educational Institutions etc. with a focus on quality of accounts
- Identify prospective customers & convert them into real business opportunities
- Deepen existing portfolio to ensure customer stickiness
- Meeting targets to achieve the annual business goals
- Periodical planning to review the under-performing Acquire & deepen accounts of Trusts, Associations, Societies, Clubs, Religious Institutions, and Educational Institutions etc. with a focus on quality of accounts
- Identify prospective customers & convert them into real business opportunities
- Deepen existing portfolio to ensure customer stickiness
- Meeting targets to achieve the annual business goals




- Periodical planning to review the under-performing customers & draw an action plan for improvement
- Assess & evaluate the client needs & generate recent revenue through cross-sales opportunities
- Customer Relationship Management for efficient service & superior products
- Conduct marketing events & conferences for new customers
- Monitoring process efficiency and providing inputs for improvement
- Working closely with product team for product customization / product & process improvements
- Gathering Market intelligence & tracking Competition Best Practices
- Ensure full awareness of all the policies and procedures issued in relation to products / KYC / AML policy
- Responsible for driving customer relationship management initiatives for the Corporate Salary business across the cluster.
- Focuses on building, nurturing, and strengthening relationships with key corporate clients, decision-makers, and employee customer segments to enhance customer satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
- Ensures the delivery of seamless banking experience by proactively addressing customer needs, resolving escalations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide effective banking solutions.
- Responsible for deepening existing relationships, increasing product penetration, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and fostering long-term partnerships that contribute to sustainable business growth and customer loyalty.
- Implements the risk policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks), ensuring that that these meet regulatory and internal requirements.
- Implements the internal control systems in the department and participates in the departmental audits.
- Implements practices to bridge gaps identified during departmental audits.
- Tracks and monitors daily productivity and book movement of the Cluster
- Partners with HCM Business partner for periodic review of performance of executives in the region and identify training needs if required
