About The Role HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving solution design and engineering initiatives aimed at accelerating the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at an enterprise level. The successful candidate will lead complex cloud migration, modernization, data engineering, and AI-driven automation projects across various industry verticals.

They will collaborate closely with global sales teams, technical architects, and partners to craft compelling go-to-market strategies, develop innovative solutions, and secure customer wins. The role offers an exciting chance to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies, including data engineering, AI, and machine learning, to help clients achieve their digital transformation objectives.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience.



At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience working specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential. Candidates should demonstrate deep proficiency in GCP core services such as Compute, Storage, and Networking, along with high-level expertise in Data Engineering tools like BigQuery and Looker.

A foundational understanding of AI/ML platforms, including Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, as well as familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), is preferred. Proven experience working with GSI partners, developing joint solutions, and aligning with enterprise sales targets is highly desirable. Candidates should also possess excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs/RFPs and proactively address customer requirements, ensuring solutions align with client business goals.

Develop ROI models and hyperscale funding strategies that optimize Google Cloud consumption and demonstrate TCO benefits to clients.

Design and facilitate technical workshops, creating reference architectures for data center migration, modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives.

Architect Google Cloud Native applications and enterprise-grade Data Engineering stacks utilizing services such as BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI to enable data-driven decision-making.

Ideate and design AI solutions, including Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and Generative AI (GenAI), to enhance enterprise IT managed services,



cloud operations, and automation processes.

Work closely with GSI partners to develop joint go-to-market solutions, scaling solutions, and expanding market reach.

Leverage industry domain expertise to map value stream use cases within sectors such as BFSI, RCPG, Telecom, Healthcare, and Manufacturing, tailoring solutions to specific industry needs.

Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations to showcase cloud capabilities and drive customer engagement.
