About The Role HCLTech is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join its dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving solution design and engineering efforts to accelerate the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at an enterprise level. The successful candidate will lead initiatives related to cloud migration, modernization, data engineering, and AI-driven automation across various industry verticals such as banking, retail, healthcare, and telecommunications.

You will collaborate closely with global sales teams and cross-functional technical architects to craft compelling go-to-market strategies, develop tailored solutions, and secure customer wins. The role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cloud architecture, data engineering, and AI solutions, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business value propositions. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of enterprise cloud adoption in India and beyond.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with a B.E. or B.Tech degree. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience is required,



with at least 2-3 years dedicated to working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Candidates should demonstrate technical proficiency in GCP services such as Compute, Storage, and Networking, along with expertise in Data Engineering tools like BigQuery and Looker.

A foundational understanding of AI and ML platforms, including Vertex AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), is preferred. Proven experience in collaborating with Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners and familiarity with industry-specific value stream use cases are highly desirable. Soft skills such as executive presence, effective communication, and the ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders are essential.

Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer are advantageous.

Responsibilities - Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and technical feasibility.

- Develop return on investment (ROI) strategies for Google Cloud consumption, including hyperscale funding options that optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) for clients.
- Design industry-specific use cases for cloud adoption and modernization, focusing on IT managed services and digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead technical workshops and create reference architectures for data center migration and modernization projects to Google Cloud.
- Design and implement Google Cloud-native applications and enterprise-grade data engineering stacks utilizing BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI.




- Innovate and develop Gemini Enterprise Agentic AI and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions tailored to enterprise needs, enhancing IT managed services, cloud operations, and engineering functions.
- Work closely with GSI partners to build joint solutions, scale go-to-market efforts, and expand cloud adoption across targeted industries.
- Maintain a high level of industry domain knowledge, particularly in BFSI, RCPG, Telecom, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Technology sectors, to effectively map value stream use cases.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technology, AI/ML platforms, and industry trends to continuously enhance solution offerings.
