: Cloud Architecture & Governance Lead

Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architecture & Governance Lead responsible for driving end-to-end cloud transformation, architecture governance, DevSecOps adoption, FinOps optimization, and platform security. The role will act as a strategic bridge between architecture, operations, security, and business teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform comprehensive application architecture assessments, including current-state analysis and cloud readiness evaluation.
- Define target cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) aligned with enterprise standards (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless).
- Lead solution design reviews covering scalability, performance, HA/DR, and security.
- Provide hosting recommendations and migration strategies (rehost, re-platform).
- Prepare detailed cost estimations and TCO analysis for cloud deployments.
- Establish architecture governance aligned with assessment frameworks like enterprise readiness models.
- Provide governance and strategic oversight to Cloud Operations teams.
- Lead enterprise-wide DevSecOps onboarding initiatives for applications and teams.

Drive end-to-end onboarding including :

- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)

Establish standardized onboarding prerequisites such as :

- Git repositories, build pipelines, infra components, and deployment workflows.
- Ensure adoption of security-first development practices and automation pipelines.
- Track and report onboarding progress,



deployment success rates, and vulnerability closure metrics.
- Drive FinOps governance and cost optimization initiatives across cloud platforms.

Implement

- Cost allocation via tagging
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking models
- Savings plans, reserved instances, and right-sizing strategies
- Conduct periodic zero-based cost reviews and optimization workshops.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving mechanisms (resource parking, workload optimization).
- Promote a proactive cost discipline culture integrated into solution design and delivery lifecycle.
- Manage and govern domain management, routing policies, and failover configurations.
- Ensure secure external exposure of applications aligned with enterprise security standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills:

- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience in:
- Cloud architecture patterns (microservices, serverless)
- DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub etc.)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Networking, IAM, security controls

Functional Skills :

- Strong background in :
- Architecture governance
- FinOps and cloud cost management and governance
