Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Workday Software Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting Workday solutions across Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, and Integrations.

The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in Workday configuration, reporting, security, business process optimization, and integration development while collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and maintain Workday HCM solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and enhance Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, Talent, Recruiting, and Payroll.
- Configure and optimize Workday Business Processes, Condition Rules, Calculated Fields, Custom Objects, and Security Framework.
- Design and develop Workday integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Workday Web Services.
- Build complex Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics using Report Writer, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, and Calculated Fields.
- Support Workday releases by evaluating new features, performing impact analysis, testing, and implementing enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes,



and implement permanent solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and system performance across Workday environments.
- Mentor junior Workday developers and provide technical leadership during project execution.

Tech Stack &

Requirements :

- Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Business Process Configuration, and Security Framework.
- Solid knowledge of Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
- Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, REST, and SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, and Web Services.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing tools.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience implementing multiple Workday modules.
- Workday certifications in HCM, Integrations, or Workday Studio will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to global HR processes and compliance requirements.
- Experience integrating Workday with ERP, Finance, Identity Management, Payroll, and third-party HR applications.
