Role Description The Civil Project Engineer will oversee planning, design, and execution of civil works for MedPlus facilities and projects in Kochi. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating site development activities, reviewing engineering designs, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

The engineer will manage stormwater and drainage solutions, monitor construction progress, and collaborate with contractors, consultants,



and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, conducting site inspections, implementing quality control measures, and supporting project timelines and budgets for new stores, warehouses, and healthcare infrastructure.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills.
- Candidates should possess Site Development and Stormwater Management skills.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills related to construction and civil works.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in commercial or healthcare infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools).
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Solid project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to perform regular site visits, monitor contractors, and ensure timely project delivery.
