Designation: City Lead Last Mile (EXP_OPR_CHNLOPR_FLEXPRO_CTLDLM)

Role Overview

Own end-to-end workforce supply and retention for last-mile operations within the assigned territory, ensuring a consistent and reliable pool of service partners and delivery bikers operating on a variable cost structure to meet dynamic demand.

The role is responsible for building scalable sourcing channels, driving high onboarding conversion, and implementing robust retention and engagement strategies to minimize attrition and ensure uninterrupted operations. This is a highly execution-focused role requiring strong on-ground presence, deep vendor networks, and data-driven decision-making to maintain workforce stability at scale.

Core Responsibilities & KRAs

1. Fleet Scaling & Fulfillment

- Manpower Planning: Forecast demand patterns and translate them into accurate manpower plans across zones and shifts.
- Mandays Fulfillment: Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure 100% daily attendance and optimize shift deployment to meet delivery SLAs.
- Sourcing & Onboarding: Build and sustain a continuous pipeline of delivery partners and bikers through structured hiring drives, vendor partnerships, and referral networks.

2. Retention & Lifecycle Management

- Attrition Control: Track churn trends, identify root causes, and implement proactive retention strategies to stabilize the workforce.
- Engagement & Culture: Drive on-ground engagement initiatives including recognition programs,



feedback loops, and effective grievance resolution.
- Replacement Planning: Maintain a ready bench and ensure immediate backfills to avoid operational disruptions.

3. Financial & Compliance Oversight**

- Cost Optimization: Own and improve key cost metrics such as Cost Per Consignment (CPC) and Cost Per Kg (CPK) through productivity improvements and efficient workforce utilization.
- Payout & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely payouts while maintaining strict adherence to labor laws, safety norms, and audit standards.

4. Operational Synergy

- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the key link between central teams and city operations to drive seamless execution.
- Real-Time Performance Management: Monitor live KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive immediate corrective actions during operations.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 58 years in manpower sourcing, last-mile logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain operations.
- Leadership Style: Hands-on, execution-driven leader with strong ownership and on-ground presence.

Core Skills

- Proven expertise in high-volume blue-collar hiring and vendor ecosystem management
- Solid analytical capability (Excel/SQL) for performance and cost tracking
- Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills
