Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant (Senior) located in Chennai. The individual will oversee end-to-end financial management, including preparation and review of financial statements, consolidation of accounts, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Daily responsibilities include managing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flows, supervising accounts payable and receivable, and overseeing general ledger activities. The role involves handling direct and indirect tax compliance, coordinating audits with internal and external auditors, and improving internal controls and financial processes.

Accountant will also provide financial insights for strategic decision-making, support cost optimization initiatives, guide finance team members, and collaborate with operations and management across multiple locations.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting and finance skills, including financial reporting, general ledger management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Expertise in taxation and regulatory compliance, covering direct and indirect taxes, statutory filings, and audit coordination.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, cost control, and cash flow management to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor finance teams, with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a high level of professional integrity.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in construction, equipment rental, or related industries.
- Proven track record in managing multi-location operations and working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
