Role Description The CFD Intern will support ongoing research and development projects by performing computational fluid dynamics simulations and related analyses. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and running CFD models, cleaning and preparing geometries, generating meshes, and post-processing results to extract meaningful insights.

The intern will assist in validating simulation outcomes against experimental or reference data, documenting methods and findings, and preparing technical reports or presentations. Collaboration with team members on problem formulation, model selection, and optimization studies will be expected.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics, supported by coursework or project experience.
- Candidates should possess skills in numerical methods and CFD tools )
- Candidates should possess basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data processing, automation of workflows, and analysis of simulation results.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret simulation outputs, create clear visualizations, and prepare concise technical documentation and reports.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with attention to detail and a structured approach to experimentation and validation.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with CAD tools
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a research-oriented team setting are essential.
