- Transaction Processing: Operate Point of Sale (POS) terminals or cash registers to process payments for student meals, tuition, event tickets, books, and extracurricular fees.
- Cash Handling: Count money, balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, make correct change, and prepare daily bank deposits.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of all daily transactions and update student financial accounts in the school's database.
- Customer Service: Assist students, staff, and parents with inquiries regarding account balances, payment methods, or school fee structures.
- Policy Compliance: Process and manage free or reduced-price program applications in accordance with state and institutional guidelines.
- Account Support: Generate routine transaction and balance reports for the school's finance or accounting department.
