Role Description This is a full-time, in office Career Counselor role based in Bangalore.

The Career

Counselor will guide prospective students through the process of selecting appropriate study abroad destinations, courses, and institutions based on their academic background, interests, and career objectives.

Responsibilities: conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, and providing structured guidance on test preparation, application timelines, and documentation requirements. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of international education systems, admission criteria,



and scholarship opportunities, while coordinating closely with internal teams to support smooth application and admission processes.

The Career

Counselor will also participate in seminars, workshops, and outreach activities, and maintain accurate records of counseling interactions and student progress.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling, with the ability to guide students on education and career pathways.

Knowledge of Career Development and Career Management principles to support long-term planning and goal setting for students.

Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Sciences, or a related field; a master’s degree or formal counseling certification is an advantage.

Experience in study abroad counseling, higher education advising, or a similar student-facing advisory role is preferred.

Ability to work in a structured, target-driven environment while maintaining a student-first, ethical approach.

Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail and comfort using basic office and CRM tools.

Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse student backgrounds and family expectations.
