Job Summary

Leanwatts India Private Limited is looking for an experienced Buyer – Sourcing & Supply Chain to manage procurement activities for electronic components, PCB, PCBA, EMS, and engineering materials. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and experience working with domestic and overseas suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Source PCB, PCBA, EMS, electronic components, cables, connectors, magnetics, sheet metal, plastics, and other engineering materials.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage domestic and international suppliers.
- Obtain quotations (RFQs), compare offers, negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and contracts.
- Execute the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, order follow-up, invoice verification, and payment coordination.
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Coordinate import shipments, logistics, customs clearance, and freight forwarders for overseas procurement.




- Track material deliveries and resolve supply chain issues to meet production schedules.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and ERP transactions.
- Perform cost analysis, supplier benchmarking, and support cost reduction initiatives.
- Prepare procurement reports, inventory analysis, and supplier performance dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering , or any relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain within the Electronics, EMS, Power Electronics, or EV industry.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of PCB, PCBA, EMS, electronic components, and engineering materials .
- Experience in managing overseas suppliers and international procurement.
- Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of import logistics, Incoterms, and shipment coordination.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Positive analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
