Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Experience: 6 Years Location: Hybrid Employment Type: Contract About The Role We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with strong expertise in Data Modeling, KPI Development, and Power BI Reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that transform complex data into actionable business insights. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, AWS QuickSight, or similar platforms.

Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations utilizing charts such as maps, scatter plots, Gantt charts, bubble charts, histograms, heat maps, funnels, and highlight tables.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.

Design and maintain data models, schemas, and integrations with multiple data sources.

Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Create KPI-driven reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.

Perform data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of reports and dashboards.

Conduct unit testing and ensure reporting accuracy and performance.

Create and maintain technical documentation for BI solutions.

Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver scalable reporting solutions.

Implement user access controls, security policies, and row-level security (RLS).





Continuously explore and implement innovative BI and analytics techniques to solve business challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications 4–6 years of experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, AWS QuickSight, Business Objects, or similar platforms.

Strong expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and KPI reporting.

Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries and performing data analysis.

Experience designing, building, and deploying BI solutions.

Robust understanding of Data Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Warehouse Design concepts.

Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques.

Hands-on experience with DAX, MDX, and BI analytical models.

Knowledge of data visualization technologies and best practices.

Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and user/role management.

Experience blending data from multiple data sources.

Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehouse architecture.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures.

Exposure to data engineering concepts and ETL tools.

Knowledge of data governance and reporting best practices.

Experience working in agile environments.
