Business Intelligence Analyst (Finance)

Contract | Outside IR35 | Remote (India) | US Timezone Hours A well-established professional body within the finance and accounting sector is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join on an initial contract basis. This is a delivery-focused role for a data professional who can translate raw data into transparent, actionable insight for senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the full reporting cycle: understanding the business question, sourcing and interrogating the data, and producing reports that inform decision-making at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

- Transform raw data into insightful, well-structured Power BI reports
- Write and optimise SQL to extract, model and validate data
- Engage directly with stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical deliverables




- Work autonomously and in an agile manner, iterating and improving output without close supervision

Essential Skills and Experience

- Strong command of SQL and Power BI
- Proven ability to convert stakeholder requirements into technical solutions
- Confident, self-directed working style
- Availability to work US timezone hours

Desirable

- A background in finance or experience in financial reporting

Contract Details

- Rate: up to £200 per day, outside IR35
- Duration: [3 months, with likely extension for 6 months]
