Business Head - Operations and Distribution Company: Deena Enterprise / Urmee Healthcare Location: Mumbai (Borivali West), with regional travel Reports to: Directors / Owners Employment type: Full-time, permanent About the company Deena Enterprise is a 30-year-old medical device distribution company and the sole importer for Atos Medical (Sweden) and Grace Medical (USA) across the Indian Subcontinent. Our product portfolio spans voice rehabilitation, ENT, otology, and head & neck oncology support devices, serving hospitals and a nationwide network of 27+ distributors. We are professionalizing our operations and looking for an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day execution while the founders focus on strategic growth and supplier relationships.

Role summary The General Manager will own the daily running of the business — distributor performance, order fulfillment, staff management, and sales execution — reporting directly to the founders on a regular cadence. This is a senior, hands-on operating role for someone who has run a similar-sized distribution business and wants to build something long-term, not a short-term stepping-stone role. Key responsibilities

Distributor & channel management — maintain and grow relationships with the existing network of 27+ distributors across India; monitor performance, resolve issues, and identify underperforming regions.

Sales oversight — work with the sales team to hit revenue targets by product line; track pipeline and forecast using the company CRM Operations — oversee order processing, inventory, logistics, and delivery timelines; drive the transition from manual processes to digital systems already underway (CRM, cloud storage, order management).





Team leadership — manage and develop existing staff; support hiring as the team grows; ensure consistent use of company systems (CRM, shared drives) across the team.

Reporting — provide the founders with regular, clear reporting on sales, distributor performance, and operational issues.

Compliance & quality — ensure regulatory documentation, certifications, and product compliance records are maintained and current.

Marketing coordination — work with the marketing/social media function to align outreach efforts with sales priorities. What we're looking for

8–15 years of experience in sales, operations, or general management within pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare distribution.

Proven experience managing a distributor or channel network, ideally in a similar-sized business.

Comfortable with CRM systems and digital tools, or a rapid learner if not yet experienced with them.

A track record of long, stable tenures at previous employers — this is a role built for someone looking for a long-term home, not a short stop.

Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; regional language ability is a plus.

Prior exposure to ENT, rehabilitation, or oncology-adjacent medical devices is an advantage but not required.

Willingness to travel regionally to meet distributors and hospital partners. What we offer
