As we expand across Maharashtra, we are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who can establish strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, corporates, OEMs, suppliers, government organizations, and skill-development stakeholders.
Role Overview The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through institutional partnerships, corporate alliances, training contracts, and workforce development initiatives. The role demands a highly proactive individual capable of generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, managing the complete sales cycle, and consistently achieving revenue targets. This is a revenue-generating role with clear ownership of business development, client acquisition, and regional expansion.

Convert prospects into long-term business partners.
Secure institutional MoUs, corporate training projects, placement partnerships, and workforce development collaborations.
Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.

4–6 new institutional/corporate partnerships every quarter.
15–20% sales conversion rate.
Quarterly business closure targets achieved. 2.
Sales Pipeline
Management
Maintain and update all sales activities in CRM.
Track every lead through each stage of the sales funnel.
Forecast monthly business accurately.
Ensure timely follow-up and opportunity closure.

100% CRM compliance.
Follow-up within 24 hours of every client interaction.
Weekly pipeline review completed.
Sales forecast accuracy above 90%. 3.
Relationship
Management
Build long-term relationships with university leadership and business leaders.
Conduct regular review meetings with existing partners.
Improve client retention and repeat business opportunities.

Minimum two engagement activities per key account each quarter.

Revenue
Generation & Business Growth
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Generate business through corporate training, university partnerships, government projects, and workforce development initiatives.
Identify new revenue opportunities within Maharashtra and assigned territories.
Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate pricing, and close business deals.

Achieve monthly revenue targets.
Maintain a predictable business pipeline.
Minimum revenue achievement of 90–100% every month.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
Build a continuous pipeline of universities, engineering colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, corporates, OEMs, suppliers, EV startups, and industry associations.
Identify decision-makers and schedule meetings.
Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, industry events, seminars, and cold outreach.
KPI
60–80 qualified leads generated per month.
Minimum 20 new meetings every month.
Healthy lead-to-opportunity ratio. 6.

Intelligence & Business Expansion
Monitor competitors, pricing, market trends, and government initiatives.
Identify emerging opportunities in EV, manufacturing, renewable energy, and skill development.
Recommend recent products, training programs, and regional expansion strategies.

Minimum three strategic business recommendations every quarter.
New opportunity pipeline developed consistently.

Candidate
Profile
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Management, or related field.
MBA/PGDM preferred. Experience
4–6 years in Business Development, Institutional Sales, Corporate Sales, Enterprise Sales, or B2B Sales.
Experience in EdTech, Skill Development, EV, Automotive, Manufacturing, Engineering Services, Technology, or Training industry preferred.
