Role Description The Business Development Intern will support the growth and outreach efforts of Works Program by identifying potential partners, institutions, and learners, and assisting in building strategic relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, supporting lead generation activities, maintaining contact databases, and coordinating with internal teams to follow up on business opportunities. The intern will help prepare presentations, proposals, and reports, and assist in organizing meetings, events,



or outreach campaigns to promote Works Program’s offerings.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, requiring consistent collaboration with the business development and marketing teams.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data, trends, and market insights.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including transparent verbal and written communication and professional email etiquette.

Candidates should possess Lead Generation capabilities, including prospecting, outreach support, and maintaining accurate records of potential clients or partners.

Candidates should possess Market Research skills to gather information on competitors, industry trends, and customer needs.

Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and a learner-centric approach.

Basic understanding of business development, sales, or marketing concepts is beneficial.

Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools, and comfort working with CRM or spreadsheets is an advantage.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred.
