The QC Laboratory Manager / In charge is a full-time, in office role based in Kosi Mathura, UP responsible for overseeing the bitumen laboratory activities related to QC & QA. The role involves planning and conducting routine and specialized tests on bitumen, polymer modified bitumen materials ensuring adherence to prescribed standard specifications. The individual will manage laboratory operations covering equipment, calibration and maintenance schedules, ensure the documentation and prepare reports.

Daily responsibilities include supervising laboratory staff, enforcing safety protocols, coordinating with production and sales teams, and supporting development initiatives.

The Bitumen Laboratory In charge will also participate in compliance audits, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong QC & QA skills, with prior experience, min. 10 years, in bitumen, related oil product/s or construction materials testing.

- Proficiency in Laboratory Equipment handling, calibration,



and maintenance in materials or chemical laboratory.

- Solid Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making.

- Applied Laboratory Skills, including standardized testing procedures, sample preparation, and adherence to safety protocols.

- Exposure to developmental (R&D;) activities, such as evaluating new materials or optimizing testing methodologies.

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science.

- Knowledge of relevant national and international standards for bitumen and road construction materials.

- Ability to lead a small technical team, prioritize multiple testing requests, and work effectively with production and site teams.

- Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience in industrial or construction materials laboratories is preferred.
