Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support modern DevOps practices for cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in migrating services from Azure IaaS to Azure PaaS , building scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and enabling secure integrations across Azure and external enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test, release, and deployment processes.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
- Support migration of applications from Azure IaaS to Azure PaaS with automated deployment strategies.
- Configure and manage secure service connections, deployment credentials, Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and authentication mechanisms.
- Integrate Azure-hosted applications with external APIs, on-premises environments, hybrid infrastructure, and cross-tenant services.
- Implement release governance including approval gates, rollback mechanisms, automated testing, and environment promotion.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to align deployment strategies with cloud architecture.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure-related problems.
- Maintain technical documentation for deployment standards, DevOps processes, and operational procedures.
- Ensure deployment reliability,



security, scalability, and operational excellence.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Release Management, and Workplace Management.
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
- Experience migrating workloads from Azure IaaS to Azure PaaS.
- Robust understanding of Azure platform services and cloud deployment models.
- Experience with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, IAM, and secure service-to-service authentication.
- Experience integrating Azure services with external APIs, hybrid environments, and cross-tenant services.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with release governance, deployment automation, observability, and monitoring.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or relevant Azure Certification.
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Experience with Azure API Management and Azure Integration Services.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to enterprise, regulated, or public-sector projects.
