About The Role We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration with shopfloor equipment and enterprise platforms. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless data exchange between manufacturing hardware and enterprise software, ensuring real-time visibility and control over production processes.

The Automation

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that optimize manufacturing operations and support digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering. Proven hands-on experience with PLCs from Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Omron is essential. A robust understanding of MES systems, ISA-95 architecture, and industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Profibus is required.

Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or .NET, along with database management skills in SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, will be highly advantageous.

Certifications or prior experience with Industry 4.0, IIoT, or cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS IoT are preferred.





Responsibilities Implement and manage MES integration with shopfloor equipment including PLCs, CNC machines, sensors, and vision systems.

Configure and oversee industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Profibus to facilitate reliable data exchange.

Integrate MES with SCADA/HMI systems and enterprise platforms like ERP and databases to ensure synchronized operations and data consistency.

Develop APIs and middleware solutions to enable efficient data acquisition, orchestration, and real-time analytics.

Enable real-time production tracking, machine monitoring, and comprehensive reporting to support operational decision-making.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of integrated systems in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Collaborate with production, IT, and digital transformation teams to identify integration needs and develop tailored solutions.
