Job Purpose To lead and manage testing activities for power transformers, ensuring all routine, type, and special tests are conducted in compliance with IEC/IS standards, customer specifications, and project quality requirements while ensuring timely Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute monthly Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in coordination with Production and Planning teams.
- Perform and supervise Routine, Type, and Special Tests on power transformers as per IEC, IS, IEEE, and customer specifications.
- Ensure calibration of testing equipment and readiness of the testing laboratory.
- Coordinate customer inspections, third-party witness tests, and documentation for successful FAT approvals.
- Prepare and maintain testing reports, calibration records, and technical documentation.
- Investigate test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with NABL, ISO 9001:2015, and internal testing procedures.
- Collaborate with Design, Production,



and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve testing efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, safety, and productivity.

Desired Candidate Profile Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 610 years in Power Transformer Testing, preferably in medium, high-voltage, or EHV transformer manufacturing.

Location: Willing to work at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

Key Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Power Transformer Testing (Routine, Type & Special Tests).
- Hands-on experience with IEC, IS, IEEE, and customer testing standards.
- Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer inspections.
- Familiarity with NABL and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and technical reporting.
